I was visiting Kalamazoo from out of town and I came here every single day because the coffee was so delicious!! I tried a hot white chocolate mocha, both a hot and iced dolce de leche (I preferred the iced version, the hot one wasn’t as sweet), a sleeping bear mocha (really good but make sure you like deeper/darker chocolate flavors). The only one I didn’t LOVE was the hot mocha del sol, it’s made to be spicy but the spice was overpowering for my taste. Not bad, just not for me personally. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. It took a bit longer for us to order and get our drinks some days. But I understand that it’s a smaller coffee shop, and the high quality definitely made up for the time spent waiting. Employees were friendly as well!

It really is my last time here, it’s close to my home so I’ve justified the shockingly entitled and rude behavior of the “baristas” who can be overheard complaining about their jobs constantly. But this time, I’m done. Waited 12 minutes in person for a small latte. The worker then placed it on the opposite side of the counter from the sign which said “to go orders” which is was…even tho she knew I was by the to go orders sign. Then complained again when I told her it was my drink could she please hand it to me instead of placing it right where a bunch of people were waiting in line. Done.

I was passing through town going to Traverse City and wanted to stop by a local coffee shop (a tradition I do when traveling). This café is so cute and offers seating indoors and outdoors. The baristas were all kind and welcoming. I got an iced white chocolate mocha with cold foam and its one of the best I've ever had! 😊

The coffee beans and employees are great However, the prices went up again and it was nearly $10 for a large drink Drinks should be perfect if they want to charge those prices, but there is a lot of inconsistency, especially in how the milk is steamed. I feel kind of upset when I get an expensive drink and there is zero bubbles or foam. It's so heavy and feels like someone popped it in a microwave instead. Please reconsider your new pricing and train employees better. If you have them put lattes and cappuccinos on a scale, you will easily be able to tell if they need more help learning to steam properly.

Love the friendly baristas and cozy atmosphere. The winter spice latte and loaded biscuit are a favorite way to start the day. Large selection of vegetarian and vegan options along with other housemade treats.
